Any self-respecting fashionista has heard of Joshua Kane. Kane is a fashion designer whose popularity has surged in the past years, but his talent speaks for itself.
He studied at Kingston University and went on to design for iconic British fashion lines such as Burberry and Paul Smith. However, one of his most recent clients is none other that Ponti’s Italian Kitchen.
Ponti’s has recently opened a new location at Fox Valley in Sheffield, about two hours outside of London. Don’t be fooled, Sheffield is new and attracts many Londoners who want to get out of the hectic pace of London.
As the new location has opened, a new uniform line was designed for Ponti’s staff. Posts, tweets, and photos on Instagram showcase the fitting process the staff went through with Kane.
Although Kane has a unique as well as opulent style, his craft isn’t that different from the earthy food Ponti’s is famous for. The staff at Ponti’s are artists in the same way Kane is and the results are almost the same: one you can wear and one you can eat.
Ponti’s creates hearty, mouth-watering cuisine from the heart of Italy.
Joshua Kane is an artist in his own right—clothes are displayed in his Old Spitalfields Market location.
“If it’s not edible, it’s not food. If it’s not wearable, it’s not fashion.”
