We are thrilled to be part of the British Film Institute’s celebration of master film-maker Martin Scorsese.
The BFI is showcasing one of cinema’s true titans in a two-month season, with 20 classic movies chosen by Scorsese himself. Being a son of Sicilian immigrants, and moving to Little Italy in New York before going to school, the Italian influences on his films have helped produce an extraordinary body of work.
Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street, just some of the credits which place him squarely among the pantheon of film greats. In amongst his searing depiction of violence, family life and love, there is a common thread about the Italian love of food that weaves its way through many scenes. How could we not be part of this?
During the season, we will bring offers, competitions and other news to you. To stay tuned, please sign up for our newsletter as well as our social media.
